Jewelry Care

A little care. A long life.

The pieces you wear most deserve a few quiet rituals. These simple habits help protect their finish, settings, and structure.

Wear thoughtfully

  • Put jewelry on after fragrance, lotion, and cosmetics.
  • Remove it before exercise, swimming, bathing, cleaning, and sleep.
  • Keep it away from chlorine, bleach, abrasive cleaners, and sudden impact.
  • Fasten chains before storing them and keep pieces separated in a soft pouch or lined box.

Clean gently

For most solid-gold and diamond jewelry, use lukewarm water, a small amount of mild dish soap, and a very soft brush. Rinse carefully over a closed basin, then pat dry with a lint-free cloth.

Avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaning unless a jeweler has confirmed that it is suitable for the exact stones and construction.

Notice the small things

If a stone moves, a clasp feels loose, or a prong begins catching, stop wearing the piece and arrange an inspection. Frequently worn rings and bracelets benefit from periodic professional checks.

Travel simply

Use individual compartments or pouches and carry valuable jewelry with you rather than placing it in checked baggage. Keep documentation separately from the piece.

A little guidance, whenever you need it.
